MEET THE AUDIOBOOK NARRATOR
HEY THERE, I'M ANDY!
I'm a SAG-AFTRA, Award-Winning Audiobook Narrator based in Kansas City. In Fiction, I enjoy Young Adult (YA), Sweet Romance, Literary Fiction, and Mystery; in addition to Sci-Fi/Fantasy (where I have a chance to bring unique character voices to life). In Non-Fiction, I have a real affinity for Self-Help and Inspirational works (due to my background as a mental health therapist) and True Crime works (due to my background working in the criminal justice system).
I have a background in competitive monologue performance, improv, and vocal performance (contralto-alto range singer). In addition to working as an emcee, public speaker, and morning show host. I've also coached with: PJ Ochlan, Sean Pratt, Shannon Parks, Tanya Eby, Karen White, Christina Rooney, Elise Arsenault, Andi Arndt, and more! When I'm not telling stories in the studio, you'll find me with a cup of coffee in hand while I write books, bake, work as an herbalist, complete jigsaw puzzles, crochet, collect stamps, and spend time with my pharmacist hubby, kiddo, fur babies, and plants.
Hispano by blood, Midwestern by upbringing, I have a unique cultural heritage that brings the perspective of "Ni de aquí, ni de allá". I work hard to share my story, create awareness, and inspire others to do the same. My desire to create equity for those of us who are marginalized or disadvantaged, has led me to serve on the APA's DEI Committee and as a Mentor for the APA DEI Mentorship Program.
