In a former life, I worked as a Paralegal (because I grew up watching Law & Order and thought it would be like the show---It.Was.Not--; then I became an assistant cruise ship director for Carnival Cruise Lines (which was a blast!) followed by short career stunts as a wedding planner, caterer, and matchmaker. I've spent a lot of time over the years as a conference organizer and in sales (which I love). I was also a Director of B2B (business development) and specialized in branding, marketing, and social media, in addition to my decade-long career as mental health therapist and addictions counselor (where I worked in a variety of settings over the years including: prison, rehab, outpatient, psychiatric hospital, private practice, etc.). 

I have diverse interests in everything from sports (I was a college athlete--volleyball and cheerleading--plus I love the NFL #GoChiefs), to fishing to opera to DIY crafting. In undergrad my sorority was Alpha Gamma Delta, and in grad school I was in numerous honor societies.

I am truly the most random, does-not-fit-in-a-box person, but that's okay because I am 100% genuinely and unapologetically me.
